The TSA6179A is a high-performance Bluetooth 5.0 stereo audio receiver board based on the Qualcomm QCC3031 chipset. It’s designed to add reliable, long-range Bluetooth audio to amplifiers, home audio systems, and DIY speaker builds via Line-In or AUX input.

 

This board features a micro-USB port for firmware updates, allowing you to switch between TWS mode and Party (Multipoint) mode, depending on how you want your system to operate. Two onboard buttons (S1 & S2) can be configured to handle different functions based on the selected firmware.

🔹 TWS Mode (True Wireless Stereo)

 

 

• Operates as a standard Bluetooth stereo audio receiver
• Two TSA6179A boards can be paired together in TWS mode
• One module outputs Left channel, the other outputs Right channel by default
• Bluetooth settings can be changed to output L&R mixed mono on each module
• Ideal for dual-speaker or split-channel builds

 

 

 

🔹 Party Mode (Multipoint / Broadcast)

 

 

• Allows multiple TSA6179A modules to connect and play audio together
• Each module outputs stereo audio by default
• Makes it possible to build wireless multi-speaker or surround-style systems

Basic Operation

 

 

 

TWS Mode – Single Module

 

 

1. Power on the module
2. After ~1 second, it enters pairing mode (Red & Blue LEDs flashing)
3. Connect to “TSA6179” from your Bluetooth device
4. Play audio

 

 

 

TWS Mode – Dual Module Setup

 

Master Module

 

• Long press S1 to set as TWS master

 

 

Slave Module

 

• Power on, long press S2 to set as TWS slave
• Modules auto-connect within ~30 seconds

 

 

 

 

 

Party Mode – Multipoint Setup

 

 

1. Power on the module
2. Double-click S1 to enter pairing mode
3. Connect to “TSA6179” from your Bluetooth device
4. Audio will play on the master module

 

 

Adding Slave Modules

 

• Click S2 on the slave to set receiver mode
• Double-click S2 on both master and slave to pair
